Tyneham Village

Tyneham Village

The Village Sits between Lulworth cove and Kimmeridge bay in Dorset. At the Start of the second world war it was Claimed by the MOD for training of troops and a base, As its situated close to Lulworth Camp. The Residents were Forced to leave, Being promised once the war ended they could return. They Never returned The MOD kept the land and still own it today. Now a site dedicated to the memory of those people only the shells of the Buildings and the Church remain,

A Great place to visit, Lots of atmosphere and a feeling of sadness there.
